About Us

I have owned and trained hunting retrievers most of my adult life. What started out as a hobby  has turned in to a passion of mine.  We train your dog not only to be a good hunting dog but to become a good companion. Most of the dogs here at the kennel are personal companion dogs. We stress the importance of you being involved in your dogs training and offer one on one training. 

Ogeechee River Retrievers offers obedience, conditioned retrieve, tune ups, puppy starter and hunting retriever training.  We also participate in Hunt Tests around the area and offer Hunt Test training for owners and their dogs.

We are located on 115 acres along the beautiful Ogeechee River just south of Louisville Georgia.

We occasionally have Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies for sale. Call us today for availability or our next breeding date. All of our breeding dogs have hips, eye and genetic clearances. We are proud to be an AKC Breeder of Merit for Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
